Our Christmas Liturgy Assemblies were a prayerful and uplifting celebration centred on the theme “Christ the Light Comes into the World.” Considerable time and care were dedicated to preparing these assemblies, reflecting the commitment, faith, and creativity of our students and staff.
Through powerful Scripture readings and moments of meaningful reflection, the assemblies invited our school community to pause during the busy Advent season and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. The message of Christ as the Light of the world was beautifully brought to life through a rich variety of performances.
The St Paul’s Gospel Choir, Gospel Boy Singers and the talented soloists among the student body led us in joyful and moving song, while expressive dance and dramatic performances from our GCSE Drama students helped retell the story of Christ’s coming in a way that was engaging and deeply reflective. Each contribution played a vital role in creating a reverent and inspiring atmosphere of worship.
These assemblies were a true expression of our Catholic identity, reminding us that the light of Christ shines in darkness and calls each of us to carry His light into our school, our community, and the wider world.
