Head of Music

St Paul’s Academy in Abbey Wood is seeking an ambitious, creative and highly organised Head of Music to lead a department at a genuinely exciting stage of development. This post will appeal to someone who wants to build, shape and grow provision – not simply keep things going. We are only in our second year of full music provision at KS3, and the successful candidate will have a rare opportunity to help reshape curriculum, enrichment and performance opportunities across the academy.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an innovative leader who wants room to be creative. The new Head of Music will have the freedom to bring fresh ideas, the support to develop them and the platform to build a rich, visible musical culture across the academy.
