Community of Welcome | Justice Makers | Seekers of Truth

At St Paul’s Academy, our curriculum is at the heart of everything we do. Broad, balanced, and ambitious, it ensures every student is challenged, inspired, and supported to achieve their very best, leaving us with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to thrive in education, work, and life.

Guided by our belief that every child should be known, heard, seen and loved, our curriculum nurtures curiosity, builds confidence, and fosters social responsibility. High-quality strategies such as retrieval practice and assessment for learning underpin all lessons, helping students revisit knowledge, address misconceptions, and make secure progress.

By clicking on each subject below, you can view a curriculum overview, a detailed curriculum map for each year group outlining both substantive and disciplinary knowledge, and knowledge organisers to help students master key ideas and vocabulary.

Our three-year KS3 curriculum provides rich opportunities to acquire deep knowledge and skills, laying strong foundations for KS4 success. Literacy, numeracy, and creativity are embedded across all subjects, with our well-stocked library serving as a vibrant hub for reading and learning.
