We wish to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support SEND learners at St Paul’s Academy.
Key Responsibilities:
Under direction, support the implementation and delivery of specific intervention programmes.
Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and session delivery.
Provide in-class support for SEND students.
Manage and organise resources and intervention materials.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent and holistic support.
Engage in training and continuous development related to SEND strategies, and safeguarding.
The ideal candidate will have:
GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C or above (4–9)
Experience in supporting or delivering intervention programmes
A strong understanding of child development and SEN
A high level of organisation, adaptability, and initiative
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
Competence in using IT systems for data entry and resource management
A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to undergo ongoing training
Prior experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
