Welcome to St Paul's Academy

As the Principal, and more importantly, as a former student of this very institution, I am immensely proud to lead a community that shaped me and continues to drive the future of the Royal Greenwich Borough.

I am just one of many who walked these corridors. Today, my mission is to ensure that our current students rise to become the leaders, thinkers, business owners, and creatives our world needs.

Our Catholic Ethos: Serving the Many, Not the Few

At the heart of our Academy is a simple yet profound guiding principle: every student is "God’s work of Art". This "moral centre" ensures that our school is a place of care and compassion, where an inclusive approach allows every young person to feel valued and supported.

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school that serves the entire community—the many, and not just the few. We don’t just teach; we aim to capture the imagination and broaden the thinking of every student, helping them realise their divine potential.

A Pursuit of Academic Excellence

We are unashamedly ambitious for our students. At St. Paul's, we strive for the best academic attainment results possible. We believe that a student's potential, their progress, and their final end results are intrinsically intertwined. By raising expectations, we move the Academy into a future of excellence where every student can achieve their personal best.

A Specialist Sports Academy with Modern Facilities

St. Paul’s Academy is proud to be a Specialist Sports Academy. We believe in the "power of sport" to instill a strong work ethic, comradery, and team spirit.

Our state-of-the-art modern facilities are not just for athletes; they provide an environment conducive to high-level learning across all subject areas. Whether in a science lab or on the MUGA, our students have the tools they need to excel in a modern world.

Our Foundation: Ready, Respectful, and Safe

By embedding our core values, we create a disciplined yet vibrant atmosphere where learning is the absolute priority:

  • Ready: Prepared for the academic rigors of a robust curriculum.

  • Respectful: Treating one another with the dignity that "God's work of Art" deserves.

  • Safe: Ensuring a proactive and curious safeguarding culture for all.

St. Paul’s Academy is a special place for staff and students alike—a school that reflects the diversity, talent, and ambition of Greenwich. We are a family dedicated to the "common good".
