BTEC Sport - Unit 4 'Preparation for sport'
This assignment gives learners the opportunity to examine the basic factors of Fitness in sport. Through completing this assignment learners will be expected to plan basic fitness programs and enable learners with the opportunity to develop such strategies for a range of athletes from a variety of sports.
This specific BTEC Sport Assignment will give learners an insight into the essential preparation required for successful sports performance. Learners are expected to investigate the fitness level of an individual and administer a range of simple field tests of physical fitness. This will enable learners to discuss the impact that training has on sports performance. Learners are encouraged to look at different methods of fitness training for each of the components of physical fitness and plan a fitness training programme for a selected individual.

GCSE Physical Education
There are 2 units:
- Unit 1 - The Theory of Physical Education
- Unit 2 - Performance in Physical Education.
This piece of work by Tolu in Year 9 shows us his Mind Map for revising for Section 1.2: 'Your healthy, active body'.
It shows us all the aspect of the topic on 'Muscles'. A very detailed document which demonstrates the high standard and expectations of every student within the GCSE Physical Education programme.
Edexcel GCSE Music
GCSE composition
Edexcel GCSE Music is an exciting and inspiring course that would appeal to any student with an interest in music in general. It gives the opportunity to explore strengths and preference in music and develop these fully. It develops your practical, listening and creative skills.
The course is divided into three areas;
- Performing
- Composing
- Listening
The first two being the coursework content: Coursework is worth 60% and the Listening paper is 40%.
