Special Educational Needs
Saint Paul's Academy provides appropriate educational opportunities for all
students. We genuinely believe that all youngsters should have the opportunity
to grow and develop and helping them to overcome any barriers that inhibit
their learning is part of our service. If at all possible we seek to avoid labelling
students believing that the label can be more incapacitating than the problem. We do however
seek to provide professional guidance on how to support young people who have to overcome
physical, emotional or other challenges in their quest to learn. Through our whole school procedure
of identifying, assessing, planning courses of action, accurate record keeping, monitoring and reviewing
of progress, we are able to support the students within our school community.
The Academy will maintain links with outside agencies and the Greenwich educational
support services.
