Individualised Curriculum
Our emphasis is on students as individuals.
Students' needs are catered for as
flexibly as possible using our wide variety
of teaching techniques and learning
resources. If we consider that a student is
ready to enter for GCSEs or other external
tests before their chronological age
would traditionally allow, we will do so.
These decisions will, of course, be made
only after negotiations with the students
and their parents.
The ability to modify
learning according to personal needs is
very important and motivating and it is our
intention to involve the students in all the
decisions that will affect them. The days
when students have no say in what they
learn are gone, although we do, of course,
have to exercise final decisions if conflicts
of interest arise.
