I was fortunate to be picked as an Olympic Ambassador who, as part of a group helps shape our sporting academy with ideas, initiatives and community projects. As a student of sport, I am competing my studies through learning about sports leadership and how through the Olympic and Paralympic Values we can become better citizens for the future
, remarks Machindo.
Talking about his eventful evening with Lord Coe, Machindo says, It was an amazing evening of sporting celebration. Meeting famous Olympians, like Denise Lewis and Colin Jackson but talking with Sebastian Coe was a dream come true – he is such an inspiring person.
Machino concludes, International Inspirations has given me a platform to do the things I’ve always wanted to do – organise sporting events, present awards, meet athletes and aspire to be a role model for not only my peers but for my family as well. Sport and International Inspirations has given me a positive direction.
