Spanish Enterprising Students

Tue, 28/06/2011

On Tuesday 14th June the  went to the global bank UBS in central London. The students had the opportunity to question employees of the bank, on their careers and skills, and to receive feedback from them on their own work.

Year 10 Spanish International Enterprise students making a slaes pitch.

Students took part in tasks, focused on developing their presentation skills and the Saint Paul's students produced some very inventive sales pitches. In their enterprise teams students then created an engaging presentation on their business plan and presented this confidently in front of an audience of over 50 people, which included other schools and a panel of UBS judges. All our teams presented brilliantly and two of our teams, 'Inspire' and 'Los Jefes' received 1st and 3rd places, a fantastic achievement.

The teams the next day back at school, ran a series of different activities including a Spainish Chill Zone, cake sale, a Spainish cafe and a football tournament. Collectively £150 was raised for charity. Many congratulations to all students on their success.
