South London Feile visit to Moneymore

Under 14 gaelic football team and their mentors and Cookstown District Council Chairman John Mc Namee.

The South London Under 14 Gaelic football squad and their mentors visited Moneymore for Feile Dhoire 2010. They were welcomed to the area by Cookstown District Council Chairman John Mc Namee and Moneymore Chairman Roddy Mc Ivor.

They were entertained at the Cookstown Leisure Centre before moving to Moneymore for a three night stay. The boys went on to win the Feile Division 5 title in Celtic Park Derry on Sunday 4th July beating Tipperary Commercials 0-8 -0-4 before returning to London.

The guests would like to thank Moneymore GFC and the host families for the hospitality and warm welcome they received. The team mentors were Bryan Smyth, Pat Winston, Michael Donnelly, Michael Maher and Danny O' Brien.They come from the following GAA clubs in South London: Dulwich Harps, Round Towers and Thomas Mc Curtains.
