As part of the Enterprise Specialisms, Saint Paul’s Academy have become directly involved in our local community.
Our neighbours in Finchale Road include the Weyborne Care and Support Home for the Elderly and successful links have now been fully established. Already the Music, Art and Drama departments have visited, performed for and will begin to decorate areas in the home, helping to occupy and stimulate the residents and support the centre staff.
We were extremely pleased when this community link was further
developed and enhanced when a small number of the residents,
accompanied by the Home manager and carers, were able to visit the Academy and joined in the wonderful celebrations of the Official Opening and Dedication of the new building.
Our link with Weyborne is a real community enterprise for the benefit of both young and old and we look forward to developing this link
further.
