The Under 14 Gaelic Footballers and mentors are in Ireland over Half term on their annual Football tour. They have recently been on Northern Ireland Sports news meeting Down Manager James McCartan and Armagh manager Paddy O'Rourke on a visit to Saint Paul's school in Bessbrook.
The squad of 20 are touring the country playing games in Counties Down, Roscommon, Cavan and Armagh. The boys were welcomed by GAA President Christy Cooney and applauded at half time during the Ulster Clash of Armagh and Down on Saturday evening. Early news again highlights the value of such enrichment trips and of course the commitment of teachers to our Sport specialism.
