As part of the Enterprise specialism, the new Year 7 were set a fundraising challenge to come up with ideas to generate as much profit as possible, from a £5 loan given to each individual tutor group.
The activity was to help the students boost their confidence, work as a team and develop personal learning and thinking skills, at the same time supporting our Academies community projects. With ideas that included a 100 number grid, basketball and football shooting competitions and the interactive horror maze £235 profit was achieved.
Already the Year 7 have shown by their efforts and teamwork they can make a positive difference to the community.
