Enrichment enhances achievement

Tue, 30/11/2010

Delivering Physical Education would be so much easier if students had identical interests, abilities and background; a ‘one programme fits all’ approach. This is our challenge, one where 'every child matters', one that facilitates the opportunity to extend, be enriched and excel.

It is a little special at the all new Saint Paul’s Academy today. With our impressive £22 million sports academy, all students have more than they bargained for. They now approach their learning with a spring in their feet, an approach that is certainly unique. With an extremely ambitious and committed, extensive PE staff, the entire community is benefiting, from, not only its stunning design and impressive facilities, but from a creative curriculum, inside and outside the classroom.

It’s the impressive extensive extra curricular programme that excites all. Both boys and girls have ample opportunity to take part and exceed personal expectations in a most impressive and positive setting.

We are also purchasing 700 club t-shirts, all specifically designed for individual sports. Heavily funded through sports specialism funding, we expect all students to get onboard and support out drive for sustaining this commitment for excellence.
