On Wednesday 15th June, the Under-14 boys Gaelic football team captured the clubs third London championship title in a row when they defeated a gallant Thomas McCurtains side on a scoreline of 3-12 to 1-3 in Rusilip. It is amazing to think that this very same team never won a game at under-12 level. However, they persevered and worked hard at their game over the winter months and they are now champions at under-14 level.

Captain Johnson Adekoya collected the trophy from the London Minor Board Chairman John O'Neill amidst jubilant celebrations. There is no doubt that the teams recent tour of Ireland was the best possible preparation for an assault on the London championship.

As a result of this latest success, the team will now go forward to represent London in the All-Britain championship in Birmingham on Saturday 9th July.

Congratulations to Mr Donnelly, Mr Smyth and Mr Winston and all Academy and Club colleagues for supporting and sharing our magnificent success.
