The Six Learning Zones

Subjects are delivered through six learning zones, which will usually be accommodated in a suite of classrooms specifically equipped to deliver the subjects offered by that zone. In the new building, the zone will have a specific open study area with a range of computers loaded with learning programmes particular to the subjects taught in the zone.

These zones are:

A seventh learning zone is responsible for the provision of student services and this team will address particular needs of individual students. They may be inhibited in their learning, they may be exceptionally able and talented or they may exhibit unacceptable behaviour, which needs modification. Student services will provide training support for staff members working with students needing special requirements and may provide unique learning programmes for some children for finite periods.
