Vision Aid Overseas &
Guide Dogs For The Blind
Vision Aid Overseas has been promoted at Saint Paul's during 2005/6 and will be
continued next year. The aim now is to continue this theme through a very appealing cause, Guide Dogs for
the Blind, the benefits of which are very evident in our community. Through Vision Aid Overseas and Guide
Dogs for the Blind we can raise much-needed funds and create a variety of Enterprise opportunities,
particularly for Year 9 students. It is hoped that with funds raised for Guide Dogs for the Blind, the
Academy can sponsor a puppy through its initial training and follow its progress until it becomes a
working guide dog. It is also hoped that we can raise awareness of the value of sight and how many
people, particularly people living in developing countries, suffer from eye disease which can be easily
given at a very small cost.
