The Archdiocese of Southward sponsors Saint Paul's Academy which replaced the successful Saint Paul's Catholic School in order to increase the number of catholic and community places available to local children. At present it is on the site of Saint Paul's Catholic School but will move to a brand new building with outstanding specialist facilities in September 2009. Last summer 82% of the students achieved 5 or more A* - C grades.

Religious Studies Teacher

Roll: 780 (rising to 1200 in 2011)
The Academy is divided into seven Learning Zones; six of which have responsibility for a number of related subjects. Of these five have responsibility for year groups which they move through the school with. The English and Communications Learning Zone comprises of English and Modern Foreign Languages.

Teacher of Girls' Physical Education

The Academy is looking for a well and enthusiastic teacher of Girls' PE to join an outstanding departmental team and to teach across the full age and ability range, including GCSE and BTEC Sport. A willingness to be involved in extra-curricular activities would be an advantage.
