Accessibility
Saint Paul's commitment to accessibility
We hope this page helps you to get more out of our website. Here at Saint Paul's Academy
we have followed the guidelines listed by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) to ensure that the
HTML code employed makes it easy to use speech-output and other assistive technology.
Accessibility for all users
We are very happy that we have succeeded in creating a website which is accessible
to a wide variety of users. The World Wide Web Consortium's WAI guidelines state that, in order for a
website to be considered accessible, it must stick to the rules as set out in Priority I and Priority II
checkpoints. We have fulfilled these and all other fixed conditions for Priorities I and II. We have used
expandable text and contrasting colours and have worked to ensure that this website will support various
individual customisation choices with the use of up-to-date browser technology. We are therefore pleased
to commend our site to all users regardless of their physical or technological disability.
Online forms
All forms on this site have been carefully designed and tested for accessibility and
use. We have tried to ensure that all forms are accommodating, regardless of the platform, connectivity
or ability.
Downloading documents
Every effort has been made to ensure that files on this site are available and
accessible in HTML format. However, from time to time larger files may require other formats such as
Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format).

Colours
Every effort has been made to use colours on this website that allow for maximum
contrast between foreground and background items as well as various features including headers, body
text and hyperlinks.

I can't use a mouse. What do I do?
Many of our key pages can be reached by using Access Keys, if you have your own
key press activator, or need to use keys then you should still be able to use much of the website as you
would with a mouse.
